Kittin

Caroline Hervé, as her real name is, French in origin, is one of the first women artists established as a household name in the electronic dance music scene when she first appeared in the late 90s. DJ, singer, songwriter, composer and music producer, released her first single in 1998 with her favorite studio partner, The Hacker, and released two more albums together. He also collaborated with recognizable artists such as Chicks On Speed, Felix Da Housecat, Sven Vath and Steve Bug, which in combination with her explosive, open-minded, fusion DJ sets launched her status at the heights of a pop persona. She has also collaborated with Golden Boy, with whom he has released an album. On top, she has released four personal albums, along with the very latest ‘Kosmos’, on her own label ‘Nobody’s Bizzness Records’. Miss Kittin’s world has Chicago house and electro, punk and electronic pop, techno and italo, rap and crooning, while anyone who hasn’t heard a DJ set of her doesn’t know how entertaining and impactful can be. As she says: ‘I love playing records, it’s probably what I know to do best of all the things in my life. I do it because it’s very fun and makes me feel free.’
